A mother may be too ill to stand trial accused of child neglect after her son's death allegedly from scurvy, a court has heard. Glyn Seabridge, 46, of Dolau Crymych, Cardigan, west Wales, could stand trial alone accused of the neglect of his eight-year-old son. Julie Seabridge, 46, appeared alongside her husband at Swansea Crown Court on Monday in what was scheduled to be a plea hearing. Their son Dylan Mungo Seabridge died at the then family home in west Wales on December 6 201l. His sudden death is alleged to have been caused by scurvy, an illness linked to a deficiency of vitamin C.
