Coach found its new creative director this week, announcing Monday that Stuart Vevers, who has been the creative director of the Spanish luxury label Loewe since 2008, will replace the departing designer Reed Krakoff. Mr. Vevers’s title will be executive creative director, the company said. There had been much speculation over the role since Mr. Krakoff announced he was leaving Coach to focus on his signature label with Emma Hill, formerly of Mulberry, and several other big designers floated as possible successors in industry reports.
